Terms and Conditions – Medconnect Vienna

1. Scope of Services

MedConnect Vienna acts solely as a patient coordination and referral service for individuals seeking medical assessment or treatment from a qualified medical provider, specialist or medical centre.

• Initial communication with the patient
• Collection of relevant medical information
• Presentation of the medical case to the relevant medical provider for assessment
• Coordination of treatment proposals and cost estimates
• Appointment scheduling
• Personal assistance and language interpretation (upon request) during medical consultations

Medconnect Vienna does not provide medical diagnoses, medical advice, or medical treatments.

2. Medical Responsibility

All medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments are provided exclusively by the licensed medical professionals responsible for the patient’s care.
Medconnect Vienna does not assume any responsibility or liability for the content, quality, or outcome of medical services provided by the respective medical provider.

The contractual relationship for medical treatment is solely between the patient and the treating medical provider.

3. Financial Terms

Patients will receive cost estimates directly from the respective medical provider.
All medical service fees are payable directly to the treating physician, medical centre or other medical provider by the patient.
Medconnect Vienna does not collect any medical treatment payments on behalf of the medical provider.

Additional charges may apply if professional interpretation services are required in a language not covered by MedConnect Vienna’s standard language support. Any such additional costs will be communicated to the patient in advance.

4. Data Protection

All personal and medical data shared with Medconnect Vienna will be handled in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data will only be forwarded to the relevant medical provider for the purpose of case evaluation, medical assessment and treatment planning.
No data will be shared with any other third parties without the patient’s explicit consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

Medconnect Vienna shall not be held liable for:

• The medical outcome or success of any treatment.
• Any delays or changes in appointment scheduling due to the medical provider’s capacity or unforeseen circumstances.
• Any damages arising from the use or misuse of the treatment proposal provided by the medical provider.

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Austrian law.
The place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this agreement shall be Vienna, Austria.

7. Final Provisions

By contacting Medconnect Vienna and requesting coordination services, the patient confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
